Tulipanes Latino Art and Film Festival
The Tulipanes Latino Art & Film Festival is accepting submissions of feature-length and short films, in both narrative and documentary categories, for the 14th annual Festival in Holland September 6-14.  Deadline to submit a film is Monday, June 2.  Contact Roberto Jara at (616) 745-0887.
 
Research Study on Diverse Religious Faiths
Hope College psychology department professor Dr. Daryl Van Tongeren and his colleagues are seeking people of diverse religious faiths to take part in their research on religious attitudes and beliefs.  Participants will complete surveys and provide their opinions during a one-hour study session.  The study's announcement says: "You will receive $10 for participating; you wll add to the scientific understanding of religious traditions that have not been studied very much at all; your efforts will provide a valuable contribution to understanding the richness of religious beliefs; you may even enjoy taking the survey and reflecting on your own beliefs."   For more information or to apply to participate, email researchstudy@hope.edu
