Future Search 2020 is a 2.5-day (May 27-29) planning process involving 84 representatives from all sectors of the greater Holland/Zeeland area.  The goal of Voices in Action: Thriving Together is to create a shared, long-term community vision and to identify priorities for community collaboration.  First, it needs YOUR opinion. A number of school districts in West Michigan are opening up grab-and-go meal sites 

MAX Transit suspends regular route service, continues Reserve-A-Max

Macatawa Area Express (MAX) has suspended all regular route service until further notice.

 

Public transportation will still be available through MAX Transit's Reserve-A-MAX service. Reserve- A-MAX rides must be scheduled by 4 p. m. the day before service is needed. Rides can be scheduled by calling 616-355-1010.  Reserve-A-MAX buses will only be available for transportation to and from work, medical appointments, and grocery stores.

 

During this time, fares will be $1 for all passengers for the Reserve-A-MAX service, a reduction from the usual fares.  MAX Transit's offices are currently closed to the public, but passengers can reach staff to schedule trips and purchase passes at 616-355-1010 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Passes can also be purchased online at catchamax.org.

 

Free WiFi Service in Holland: 6 am to 11 pm

The City of Holland has launched MiHollandFreeWiFi at the north parking lot of the Holland Civic Center. Bring your device & drive on over to use the BPW fiber internet for FREE from the comfort of your car! Download movies for the kids, check email, video chat with the grandparents.  Please pass this info on to families that need internet access.   (The Civic Center building is closed to visitors.)
