Community Opportunity

4-H Cultural Competency series:  4-H and Herrick District Library are partnering to offer summer activities to build cultural competency in elementary-age youth.  They are looking for adults and older teens to help children learn more about aspects of different cultures.  Meetings will be Thursday afternoons in June or July, and will offer cultural activities in the categories of food, music, art, holidays, dances, or traditional dress/clothing.  If you would like to share your cultural background with children, please contact Susan at (616) 994-4543 or festoons@msu.edu
