Thurs, Nov. 20, 7 pm: "Act on Racism" performance (rescheduled from Nov. 13) by Grand Valley State University students "to increase awareness and combat issues of racism using real-life instances via educative theater.  Audience members can engage in "open discussion about controversial issues regarding race and ethnicity."  Sponsored by Hope's Asian Perspective Association (HAPA).  At Martha Miller Center Fried-Hemenway Auditorium (Room 135), Columbia Ave at 10^th St, Holland.

 

Thurs, Nov. 20, 7 pm: Network 180 premiere of "Open Spaces; produced by local mental health recovery advocates, "Open Spaces" is the true stories of five Kent County residents with psychiatric conditions as they explore and discover "open spaces" in their lives.  Information from Sujen Diviney at Sdiviney@grcmc.org   At Wealthy Theatre, 1130 Wealthy St, SE, Grand Rapids.
