TONIGHT, Mar 29, 7:30 pm: "On Being Liked": A Conversation with James Alison, Catholic priest, theologian, and author who has lectured and taught throughout the U.S., United Kingdom, and Latin America.  Hosted by Holland is Ready, a group of local leaders "working for the safety, rights, and inclusion of LGBT persons."  At Hope Church, 77 West 11th St, Holland.

A single mother in Ramallah applies for a visa to the U.S. and, with her son, faces difficulties with U.S. customs agents, employment, and prejudice at school.  Rated PG-13; in English and Arabic with English subtitles; 96 minutes.  $6; $5 seniors and students.
