Tues, Feb 27, 7:30 pm: 22nd annual A. J. Muste Memorial Peace Lecture, "The Weakness of War, the Power of Peace," by Holland physician, businessman, and advocate for children in West Michigan and Central America Tom Arendshorst. Thurs, Mar 1, 7 pm: "The Negro Baseball Leagues, An American Legacy," by Byron Motley, storyteller, performer, and the son of one of the last surviving umpires of the Negro Leagues. Contributions the League and its players made in the 20th century and impact on society today. Sponsored by Hope College Black Student Union Executive Board.
