Keynote speaker is former U.S. Representative Kweisi Mfume who was president and chief executive officer of the NAACP for nine years. The Helen Claytor Civil Rights award will be presented to persons who have worked to maintain positive race/ethnic relations in greater Grand Rapids: Rev. Lyman S.
