Are you registered to vote?  Monday, July 9, is the last day to register to be eligible to vote in the August 7 primary election.

 

You can register  with the Michigan Secretary of State, including at any branch offices, the offices of your local city or township clerk, and other state agencies.

Sat, June 30, 11 am:  Families Belong Together Rally.  To call for reunification of families that have been separated at the border between the U.S. and Mexico, to be educated on current immigration situations, and to learn some "next steps."  Sponsored by Lighthouse Immigrants Advocates, Latin Americans United for Progress (LAUP), and many area churches and organizations, including ACEH.  At Centennial Park (River and Central Aves, 10^th and 12th Sts), downtown Holland.

 

----A reminder from organizers:  Saturday's temperatures are expected in the 90s.  Bring water and stay hydrated; wear sunscreen, light clothing, a hat.  Bring friends!
