 Thurs, Dec 13, through Mar 10, 2019: "SONS: Seeing the Modern African American Male.  More than 80 photographs of Muskegon men, selected by a committee of their peers and representing "a broad array of backgrounds, professions, and socioeconomic status." Photography and video are used "to mimic the process of prejudging people…and reconciling  prejudgments with realities."  At Muskegon Museum of Art, 296 West Webster Ave, Muskegon.

 TONIGHT, Fri, Nov 9, 7 pm:  Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony (ACEH) hosts a public discussion of the community's Big Read, "Station Eleven."  Facilitated by Bill Moreau, associate professor of English at Hope College, formerly teacher at Hamilton High School.  Everyone is welcome. At Holland Museum, 31 West 10th St, Holland.

 Sat, Nov 10, 9:30 am – 11 am: Waterfront Holland Open House.  See details under Community Opportunities, below.

 Sat, Nov 10, 4:30-6 pm, dinner; 7 pm program (doors open at 6:30 pm): "IMAGES, A Reflection of Cultures."  International showcase and cuisine.  Dinner (optional) of food from many places around the world; $9.50 at the door.  Showcase (free) of skits, dance, song, clips of culture and language; more than 60 Hope students participate.  Donations accepted for Heifer International.
