July 1 through Oct 31, Lakeshore Food Rescue-Farm Relief Effort will buy food from local farmers to feed local families, helping keep small-farm families financially solvent while also providing fresh produce to food-insecure families. Translation and Interpretation Services: Ottawa County has given a sizable grant to the Hispanic Center of West Michigan so that the Center can provide free translation and interpretation—in 85 languages--to local nonprofits and organizations that need such services related to or in response to the current COVID health crisis.
