Fri, July 13, 7 pm: Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony (ACEH) general meeting, open to the public. Holland musician Alexander Washington will share his music and the story of his recent trip to Ghana; his journey included writing his family's name on the "Door of No Return," the area where slaves were held and then sent to America. Using guitar and Djimbe drum, Washington will present songs he wrote in Ghana. At Center for Women in Transition, 411 Butternut, Holland.
