SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

 

1) Warner Norcross and Judd law firm is offering five scholarships of up to $1,500 each "to enable minority college students in Michigan to attend a study course to prepare them to take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT)."

 

2) The Mary Free Bed Guild of Grand Rapids is offering two annual scholarships for minority students pursuing degrees in nursing and rehabilitation therapy programs (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) at accredited colleges or universities; the scholarships provide support for up to $17,500 each for education-related expenses.  Application deadline is April 1, 2008.  Call (616) 242-0404 or contact  www.maryfreebed.com
