JOB OPENING

The Boys and Girls Club of Great Holland Central Facility (Van Raalte and 18th) has an elementary assistant opening.  The position is for 20 hours per week, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm Monday-Friday.  Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with program development for 1st – 4th grades, leading a gender-specific program, implementing guidance and discipline procedures, and providing a safe environment.

Traveling exhibition of 35 works from the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia at Ferris State University; these popular culture items, which depict hate and intolerance, seek to teach understanding and acceptance.  Opening reception Tues, Jan 11, 5 pm; Wed, Jan 16, 6 pm, lecture by Dr. David Pilgrim, founding curator of the museum, followed by a reception.  www.kcad.edu/galleries.  (616) 451-2787.
