Changes to events announced in previous "In the Community"

  

There have been changes to two events that were listed in the June 8 "In the Community." 

 

(1) The 5K Run/Walk announced as part of the June 13 Multicultural Festival has been posponed until the fall. 

 

Here is the schedule of performances for the Multicultural Festival:

       Raion Taiko/DIA Taiko - 12:15 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.

       Black River "Truth In Jazz" - 12:45 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

       Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca - 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

       Mystic - 2:00 p.m. - 2:10 p.m.

       Pacific Island Dancers - 2:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.

       SE Asia Fashion Show -  2:45 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.

       Barvinok Ensemble - 3:10 p.m. - 3:40 p.m.

       Laotian Youth Dancers - 3:40 p.m. - 3:55 p.m.

       Na Kinnalee Dancers - 3:55 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

       Belle Etoile - 4:15 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.

       Maciek Biezunski - 4:45 p.m.  - 5:15 p.m.

       Lopamudra Kulshrestha - 5:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

       Holland High School Global Citizen's Club - 5:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

 

(2) The Alliance for Bilingual Arts will begin its rehearsals for Tulipanes skits at 4 pm this Sunday, June 14, instead of July 14, at the Holland Civic Theater, 50 West 9^th St, Holland.  The group will meet every other Sunday after that.  For more information, contact Brian Everiitt at (616) 566-4059 or Margo Walters at (616) 395-7867.
