Tues, May 17, 8:30 am – 3 pm: Summit 2016: Inclusion in Action. Keynote speakers Aaron Dworkin and Randall Mitsuo Goosby; breakout sessions in business, community, faith, health, education, and government and public policy. $50 includes lunch, keynotes, one breakout session, and afternoon panel. There will be no onsite registration; register by May 12 at www.ethnicdiversity.org. Organized by Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance, with area sponsors and collaborating organizations, including ACEH. At Jack Miller Music Building, Hope College, Columbia Ave at 9th St, Holland.

4-H Cultural Competency series: Would you like to share something from your family's heritage with elementary students? 4-H and Herrick District Library need adults and older teens to help children learn about aspects of different cultures (food, music, art, holidays, dances, or traditional dress/clothing)--whichever one or ones that you'd like to talk about or demonstrate with the children.
