 TONIGHT, Fri, July 18, 7 pm:  PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of LGBTQ).  Dan Lowe, a resident of Allegan County and one of the organizers of the June 1 Douglas Community PRIDE event, will speak about his experiences of conversion therapy.  Gender SAFE (Supporting All For Equality) meets from 6 tg 8 pm.  At Grace Episcopal Church, 555 Michigan Ave, Holland.

 Sat, July 20, 9 am to 11 am:  Latin Americans United for Progress (LAUP) Community Open House.  LAUP board members "will share what's going on at LAUP and will listen as community members share their thoughts."  Bonus:  Free ice cream from the Holland Police Dept. truck.  At BLVD Church, 238 West 15th St, Holland.

 Fri, July 26, dinner 6 pm; film 7 pm:  Free dinner & a movie night, showing "The Black Panther."  TIME magazine: "This is a movie about what it means to be black in both America and Africa—and more broadly in the world…Film grapples head-on with issues affecting modern-day black life…also entertaining, timely comedy, choreographed action, and gorgeously lit people of all colors."  Potluck dishes welcomed.  Call Jenna at (616) 414-9111.  Hosted by Momentum Center for Social Engagement, 714 Columbus Ave, Grand Haven.

 Tues, Aug 6, 9 pm: Free Family Movie Night.  Showing the film "UP" in Spanish with English subtitles/esta película se presentará en español con subtitulos en inglés.  Bring chairs, blankets, snacks; concessions will be available.  Alcohol is not permitted in the park.  Hosted by City of Holland.  At Kollen Park in Holland (in case of inclement weather, film will be shown at Boys & Girls Club, Van Raalte and 18th). 

 Thurs, Aug 8, 9:30 am to 3 pm:  Home Buyer Education Workshop.  Free to residents of Ottawa and Allegan counties. Hosted by Community Action House.
