 Tues, Aug 6, 6:30 pm to 8 pm:  National Night Out.  Meet public safety teams, listen to music, play games, and more. (Followed at 9 pm by free film—see entry below).  At Kollen Park, Holland.

 Tues, Aug 6, 9 pm: Free Family Movie Night.  Showing the film "UP" in Spanish with English subtitles/esta película se presentará en español con subtitulos en inglés.  Bring chairs, blankets, snacks; concessions will be available.  Alcohol is not permitted in the park.  Hosted by City of Holland.  At Kollen Park in Holland (in case of inclement weather, film will be shown at Boys & Girls Club, Van Raalte and 18th).

 Sun, Aug 11, 1 pm to 4:30 pm:  The 21st annual Potluck in the Park of the Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony (ACEH), with family games and activities, fun, fellowship, and great food! Drew Peirce of Good Samaritan Ministries will be our special speaker on affordable housing! Please bring a dish to share from your heritage, and a lawn chair for extra seating.  ACEH supplies table service, beverages, hot dogs.  Fri, Aug 16, 7 pm, support group; 8 pm, program:  PFLAG Holland/Lakeshore meeting. Showing 90-minute, award-winning film "My Life in Pink" (in French with English subtitles), followed by discussion; film is told from the point of view of a 7-year-old boy who believes he is really a girl.  Gender SAFE (Supporting All For Equality) meets from 6 pm to 8 pm.  At Grace Episcopal Church, 555 Michigan Ave, Holland.  (NOTE: Gender SAFE also meets the first Saturday of each month from 4 pm to 6 pm at the OOTL Community Center, 451 Columbia Ave, Holland.)

Hosted by Holland International Relations Commission and featuring dancers, musicians, storytellers, visual artists representing peoples and cultures of Africa, Asia, and Europe, as well as Central, South, and North America. Includes Children's Stage with activities.
