Thurs, May 24, 7 pm: "Five Women-Five Journeys" interfaith panel of women from Baha'i, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim faith traditions.  Panelists are from WISDOM (Women's Interfaith Solutions for Dialogue and Outreach in Metro Detroit); they hope to empower women to work for social justice and peace. Fri, May 25, 5:30 pm: The Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony (ACEH) general meeting.  Potluck and Hearts in Harmony program to honor our vice-president, Rev. Angela Taylor Perry, who is leaving Holland to return to Kalamazoo.  Please bring a dish to share; ACEH will provide table service and beverages.  392-5086.  At meeting room of Holland Free Health Clinic, south end of Faith Christian Reformed Church parking lot, Michigan Ave at 26th St, Holland (across from Holland Hospital).

 

Tues, May 29, 7 pm: Follow-up Educational/Racism Forum "to address racial disparities within our schools and communities."  The Forum "will address challenges and create long-term solutions for a vibrant and sustainable community."  Facilitators are Rev. STUDENT DANCE OPPORTUNITY

ALL FOR ONE dance program is accepting new students to perform at Maranda's Park Party July 12 at Kollen Park.  Classes run Wednesdays at Holland Area Arts Council from 6 to 8 pm, May 30 -  July 11; mix of hip-hop, zumba, and salsa dance. Students must be at least 12 years old and attend every class.  Cost $25, plus $10 group shirt.
