"about West Michigan teens with developmental disabilities who overcame
obstacles for admission into NASA's exclusive Space Camp program." Free
to the public. Event celebrates Developmental Disabilities Awareness

webcast, with Q&A, by Dr. John McCormick, Indiana University, and Dr.

Wed, Mar 27, 4 pm: Annual César Chávez Lecture: " A Vision for a Just
Society," keynote by Juanita Bocanegra, who grew up in a migrant
family, graduated from GVSU and Cooley Law School, and serves as

Development Organization is teaming with the Holland Civic Theatre to
hold a supervised Power 2 Be workshop for youth ages 13 to 19 (creative
acting, directing, stage construction, stage performance, lighting,
hair/makeup, costumes). $10. Participants will perform plays about

Allegan County Human Resource Dept.:
--Deadline Friday, March 29: Outreach and Assistance Counselor,
full-time with benefits. Degree in sociology, social work or
gerontology, or course work toward such a degree; 3 years' experience
working with vulnerable adults, knowledge of community resources
related to seniors. Must have or be able to obtain certification as a

The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) is accepting
applications for its 2013 MMSDC Scholarship Program. The MMSDC
Scholarship Program awards ten (10) scholarships of $2,500 per year,
for up to two years, to qualifying minority college students attending
