Thurs, June 19, 6 pm:  Power to B Play presented by area youth as part of the 14th annual Juneteenth Celebration.  At Holland Civic Theatre, 50 West 9th St, Holland.
 
Fri, June 20, 6 pm: Pageant and Fashion Show, part of 14th annual Juneteenth Celebration.  Tickets $15.  At Western Seminary, 101 East 13th St, Holland.
 
Sat, June 21, 1 pm to 8 pm: 14th annual Juneteenth Celebration and Health Fair, with theme of "Community Capacity Building from the Black Perspective."   Keynote speaker Dr. Muhammad Khalifa; appearances by Chandra Currelley and other special performers and musicians (R&B, rap, gospel, jazz, reggae), much more. Information tables and children's activities, including one by ACEH.  At Kollen Park, Van Raalte Ave at Lake Macatawa, Holland.

Research Study on Diverse Religious Faiths
Hope College psychology department professor Dr. Daryl Van Tongeren is seeking people of diverse religious faiths to take part in research on religious attitudes and beliefs.  Participants will complete surveys and provide their opinions during a one-hour study session.  The study's announcement says: "You will receive $10 for participating; you will add to the scientific understanding of religious traditions that have not been studied very much at all; your efforts will provide a valuable contribution to understanding the richness of religious beliefs; you may even enjoy taking the survey and reflecting on your own beliefs."  To apply to participate, email researchstudy@hope.edu
 
Junior Police Academy
Three-week free summer academy (July 21 – August 7; Mon-Thurs from 8 am to 1 pm) hosted by Holland Police Department for local students who have just completed the 6th or 7th grade.  Includes classroom instruction and a recreation period; topics cover court and probation system, fire department, 911 system, traffic enforcement including a mock crash, firearms/use of force, crime scene investigation; discussions on creating laws, cultural sensitivity/prejudice, and goal-setting/responsibility.  Various requirements to participate.  Call (616) 355-1140.  Apply online at www.cityofholland.com/police/junior-police-academy-application
 
Korean Culture Camp of Michigan
Korean Culture Camp of Michigan (KCCM) (Mon, June 23- Thurs, June 26) for ages 3 years through 8th grade by start of school year.  Various times depending on age.  Majority of campers are Korean adoptees and second-generation Korean Americans, but siblings and friends are welcome.
