Thurs, Aug 7.  Breakfast Club POSTPONED from this date (Aug 7) until Sat, Sept. 13, 9 am to 10:30 am.  This is to be a cross-racial relationship-building ministry meeting over a meal, to discuss race, faith, and personal life journeys, and "intentionally establish a relationship with someone from a different ethnic group than one's own."  Hosted by Pastor Wayne Coleman.  At Imagine Fellowship Church, 167 West 20th, Holland.

16th annual ACEH Potluck in the Park!
Sun, Aug 10, 1 pm to 4 pm:  16th annual Potluck in the Park of the Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony (ACEH).  Please bring a dish to share from your cultural background; ACEH provides beverages and table service.  If you have lawn chairs/blankets, bring them along for extra seating.

Community Opportunity: Great Start Program for Preschoolers
Ottawa County's Great Start Readiness Program has openings for more than 1,000 preschoolers for free or low-cost early childhood education this year.  Operated through the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD) working with school districts, community agencies, and child care centers.  Children in Ottawa County who are 4 years old by Oct 1, 2014, are eligible.  A family of four can earn up to $59,625 and still qualify.  Half-day and full-day sessions available.  Visit www.oaisd.org/GSR-Papp, or www.successandmychild.org or call (616) 796-1504.
 
Community Opportunity: Camp for Girls with Disabilities
The 2014 Her Power! Her Pride!
