Mon, March 27, 4 pm: Film "American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs," followed by Q&A with a Boggs Center representative. Documentary "plunges us into Boggs' lifetime…traversing U.S. social movements including labor, civil rights, Black Power, feminism, Asian American and environmental movements, and beyond." Boggs died at her home in Detroit in October 2015 at age 100. At Hope College, Graves Hall, Winants Auditorium, College Ave at 11th St, Holland.
Tues, March 28, 4:30 pm: "Experiencing Bigotry: How Overt Acts of Discrimination can Undermine Intergroup Relations." 2017 Inaugural John Shaughnessy Psychology Lecture, by Dr. Steven Spencer, an alumnus of the Hope psychology department. At Hope College, Graves Hall, Winants Auditorium, College Ave at 11th St, Holland.
Wed, March 29, 4 pm: "Preserving the Legacy of Cesar Chavez through Faith, Commitment, and Courage": Annual Lecture Series. Keynote address by Juan Caballero, legal fellow with the West Michigan office of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Co-sponsored by Hope College Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Latino Student Organization, and GROW. At Maas Auditorium, 264 Columbia Ave, Holland.
Thurs, March 30, 7 pm: "Islamophobia, Hate Crimes, and the Racialization of Religious Identity." Annual Rabbi Philip Sigal Memorial Lecture, presented by Dr. Simran Jeet Singh, renowed interfaith scholar-activist and professor of religion at Trinity University and Senior Religion Fellow with the Sikh Coalition. At GVSU Loosemore Auditorium, DeVos Center, 401 West Fulton St, Grand Rapids.
Wed, April 12, 5:30 pm: Hope College Senior Recognition and Women of Color Celebration. Four women speakers and recognition for all graduating students of color.

Calling All Colors: Volunteers needed to facilitate small group dialogues at middle school (May 1) and/or high school (May 2) CAC Lakeshore conferences at GVSU Allendale campus.
