Mon, Nov 24, 7 pm: 15th annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration.  Give thanks, promote peace with prayers, music, sacred writings, reflections; presentations from Baha'i, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, more.  Will take donations for Downtown Food Pantry (peanut butter, beef stew) and Habitat for Humanity.  Free, open to the public; all faith and non-faith traditions welcome.  interfaith@gvsu.edu or (616) 331-5702. Saturday, Dec. 6, 5 pm to 8:30 pm:  ACEH Holiday Potluck and Cultural Sharing Party.  Annual ACEH community event, with entertainment, music, children's activities, silent auction, great food, fun and fellowship.
---Please bring a dish to share from your cultural background, and a nonperishable, healthy food or personal hygiene item for local food bank. 
---ACEH provides beverages and table service.
---Great variety of silent auction items: many restaurant/coffee shop cards, gift baskets, specialty crafts, paintings and photographs, office supplies, and lots more fun and interesting items.  CASH or CHECKS only, please.
 
At First United Methodist Church, 57 West 10th, Holland (use 9th Street entrance).  This is an accessible facility.

Community Opportunity
