First of four-part series of dialogues for community members "to discuss and reflect on experiences with racism, bias, and inequality in Grand Rapids." Intent is "to create safe spaces for brave conversations around tough subjects that impact the livability and viability of our community." Free. Thurs, Sept 17, 7 pm: "Peace in the Holy Land is Possible": Presenter: Elias Chacour, retired archbishop of Galilee in the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, Nobel Prize nominee, author of "Blood Brothers." Known for his efforts to promote reconciliation between Arabs and Israelis, Chacour describes himself as a Palestinian-Arab-Christian-Israeli. (616) 994-0187.
