Thurs, April 30, 7 pm: Kairos USA-Holland/Zeeland Community.  Speaker originally announced, Palestinian Daoud Nassar, is unable to travel to the US because of upcoming issues regarding possible reclassification of his farm by Israeli territorial authorities.  Instead, the program will be a video Nassar has made, and a Power Point presentation about Tent of Nations.  Q&A and discussion of "how to support legitimate claims of Palestinians for a place in Israeli society."  Free, open to the public.  At Christ Memorial Church chapel, 595 Graafschap Rd, Holland.

Wed, May 6, 6 pm: Holland Citizens Task Force.  Presentation by John Golaszewski, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, on ALPACT (Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust), a Michigan organization of community people, civil rights and civil liberties groups, and leaders from law enforcement concerned with issues affecting police and community relations.  At Imagine Fellowship, 167 West 20th, Holland.

Community Opportunities
Home Buyer Education Workshop in Spanish.  Saturday, May 16, 9 am to 3 pm: Free for residents of Ottawa and Allegan counties; includes lunch.  Covers resources, budgeting, credit, mortgages, real estate, property taxes, insurance, home inspections, home maintenance.  See contact info and class location below.
