Mon, Aug 24, 3 pm and 4:30 pm: Michigan Civil Rights Commission holds two meetings: Formal business meeting at 3 pm followed by a public forum at 4:30 pm to address the issues of migrant farmworkers. This will be the last opportunity for people to provide public testimony on concerns faced by those in the agricultural industry. The Commission and several partner groups have held local visits in July and August to gather information that will be included with the public testimonies in a report to be released in the fall.
